Sr. General Manager Sri M.M.Raheja inaugurated the Hindi Pakhwada on 14th September 2004 by lighting the auspicious lamp
and garlanding Goddess Saraswati and on the same day Antakhari programme was organized and the township children
actively participated in this. After successfully organizing various programmes in Rajbhasha the second phase of antakshari,
prize distribution and the closing ceremony were organized on 21/09/2004 . In the second round of antakshari competition,
children just mesmerized the audience by their sweet melodious poems . On the last day of Pakhwada Sri M.M.Raheja
asserted that the new generation is capable of paying due respect to Rajbhasha Hindi .He also mentioned that the
enthusiasm with which the children participated today is an indication that they will be successful in whatever field they
put their step into in future
On the front of publicizing and patronizing “Hindi” Sri Raheja said IFFCO is doing commendable jobs and also mentioned that
the employees of phulpur unit has done a marvelous job by translating all the plant manuals from English to Hindi .
30 employees were rewarded for manual traslation job. 84 employees were also awarded by Sr.GM for their contribution in using
Hindi in their day-to-day jobs. The e-mails in the Unit are being sent mostly in hindi and 92% local correspondence is being done
in hindi
Essay competitions were held for school children in the Pakhawada. For class 6 to 9 the topic of the essay was
“ Importance of Moral Education”. For class 10 and above the topic was “ Modern Technology and India” and
“Cooperative Movement and Economic Growth” was the topic for Employees.
In the elocution competition “ Plastic a Curse” was the topic of class 9 and above and “Openness in Media is a disaster for Indian culture”
was the topic for ladies and employees . The most thrilling part of the Pakhwada was the poem recitation by the children.
On the last day of the Pakhwada Smt Veena Raheja awarded prizes to the winners. On this occasion Mrs. Raheja
desired for a wider participation of the children and employees and also mentioned that the hidden talent of the children
and the employees be explored so that their knowledge and ideas be shared by all .
The program was conducted by Mr. G.K.Gupta Sr. Mgr Systems and Member Secretary IFFCO Rajbhasha Co-ordination Committeee,
